1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Kosta Expenses ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of the service
Kosta Expenses is a personal and team expense tracking application operated by zorxCorp ("we", "us", "our"). The App allows you to record expenses, organize them by categories, manage budgets, collaborate with team members, and export your data. The App is suitable for all ages and contains no restricted content.
3. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must not share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts for the same person.
- You must notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Accounts for minors should be created with parental or guardian consent.
4. Subscriptions and payments
- The App offers three tiers: Free, Plus, and Team, each with different feature limits.
- Paid plans are billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store ("the Stores").
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Store where you purchased it.
- Refunds are handled by the respective Store according to their policies. We do not process payments or refunds directly.
- We may modify pricing with at least 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
- Lifetime plans grant access for the lifetime of the service, not the lifetime of the user.
5. Free tier
The free tier provides access to core features with usage limits (e.g., number of categories, expense history). We may adjust free tier limits over time. Continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
- Upload malicious or illegal content as attachments.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the App.
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits or feature restrictions.
7. Organizations and teams
- Organization creators ("admins") are responsible for managing their team members and organization settings.
- Expenses submitted to an organization are visible to its admins and managers, who can approve or reject them.
- Removing a member from an organization does not delete their previously submitted expenses within that organization.
- We are not responsible for disputes between organization members.
8. Your content and data
- You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the App.
- We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
- You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. The App is an expense tracking tool, not a certified accounting or tax system.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of calculations, charts, or reports generated by the App.
- The App is not a substitute for professional financial, tax, or accounting advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or business opportunities.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for losses resulting from incorrect data entry, failure to secure your account credentials, or actions by third-party services (Google Play, App Store, RevenueCat).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless zorxCorp from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these terms, or violation of any third-party rights.
12. Service changes and availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
13. Termination
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Clauses that should survive termination (liability, indemnification, disclaimers) remain in effect.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Finland.
15. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
16. Entire agreement
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and zorxCorp regarding your use of the App.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
